  1. Gray areas, gray areas, gray areas! I found this article to be fascinating and thought provoking, but most of the article brings me back to the most frustrating aspect of teaching which is why some students respond to a specific teacher, methodology, or curriculum and others do not. When can we create an educational system that accepts the differences inherent within each individual student? How about one that accepts and encourages different teaching styles, approaches, and personalities within specific teachers? Am I just dreaming? Is it possible to create such an environment and still get "results"?
